2nd idea : observation & experience kit

food culture observation/experience kit

includes
-invitation
-maps
-tickets
-instructional cards : Design cards that the audience can draw randomly (everyday). The random msg will ask the audience to do something specifically that relates to cultural experiences. ex) go to a Korean supermarket and find an ingridient that you have not seen before. take a picture of it blah blah something like this.

-scrap book / diary: describe one's observations, questions, findings, and thoughts through writing and images. gather all the evidence/findings collected through the experience. (recipe, package, name card, receipt, ad, take-out menu, etc)

This one can be used in classroom environment.
The teacher or one student draw a card, and everyone follow the instruction. Report the findings in the next class. maybe one or two students present their findings and the whole class can share the experience for about 10 min. If they are eager to talk about it more, they can do this after the class or school. they can swap each other's scrap book to share their opinion.

Through the instructional kit in a classroom environment, they can push themselves to do something. The experience will educate the student about other cultures in terms of
manner, menu, taboo, shopping, dinning places, etc.

They can learn thing outside of the classroom
you are not limited to experience food only; you can observe how people behave, live, communicate, etc.
